i don't know the correlation for price between the crude and heating oil, but the price for gas out here in SoCal is down $.50 a gallon

you don't mention if you have a ceiling fan, or any other type of fan, to keep the air moving. this will help quite a bit. friends have told me that blinds or tint will help cool the room also, just not letting in the sun helps a little i'm told

interesting article, sounds a bit like a group trying to damage the granite industry, but the idea that you could be putting something in the house that may cause cancer does make you think a little

Both of my boys, and to a lesser extent the wife and I, suffer from allergies. Do the permanent filters filter down to the tiny stuff like the 3M Filtrete's that I am going broke replacing? ;)
