It's no secret that everyone is looking for ways to save water. Many areas of the country have been under drought conditions for some time. When it does rain why not capture as much as you can and water your garden or plants with it? There is a lot of water that runs off your roof when it rains and ...

This is the first I have heard of this issue. The booming popularity of granite for countertops and flooring in homes has increased the demand to unprecedented levels and can be a deciding issue for those buying and selling homes, no granite no sale. Now it would make sense to me that makers of comp...

As the former owner of a swimming pool business in southern California the safety of my clients and their family and friends was always at the top of my priority list. I simply refused to do business with clients that dismissed my concerns for their safety as the financial and emotional risks were j...

It appears that the pad the unit sits on is made out of some kind of hard foam or plastic that looks like concrete. Some moles or gophers have been tunneling near the A/C unit and now it is sinking and tilting in towards the house. It sits on a slight slope and it looks like the original installer d...

I replaced my headlight units with aftermarket lights awhile back and have the factory oem headlights sitting in a box. They are out of an '04 but should fit all '02 through '05 trucks. I would recommend utilizing aftermarket Sylvania Silverstar bulbs or something similar as they make a world of dif...

You know, you want to shut the door almost all of the way but it slowly starts to swing back open. Or just the opposite, you want it to stay open but as soon as you start to walk away the door starts to close! Well there is a simple way to fix this annoying issue. Take a small diameter phillips head...

Well I went ahead and installed the service pack 3 for XP on three of my computers the other day. Everything seemed to be rolling along just fine until this afternoon. All of a sudden these three computers could not "see" the wireless router any more. My Vista laptop and the XP laptop that...

Hello! My wife and I have been living in our home for about a year now. How often we should change our air filter? I have problems with allergies too. Thanks! I like to change out the filter in the forced air unit about every two to three months. If your unit(s) is in the attic then you should have...
